New Mexico painter, Carol Allison, will be showing oils and watercolors in the classical realist approach at the Cyrus Dallin Museum, in Arlington, MA.for the month of January. Allison studied at The Siegfried Hahn Howard Wexler School in Albuquerque, NM beginning in 1970, where she learned the18th century English methods in watercolor, 19th century French principles of drawing of Professor Lecoq de Boisbaudran and the Maroger mediums in oil. The Hahn Wexler School, started in Paris, has been dedicated to promoting a greater understanding of classical painting to artists and the public throughout the nation for over 30 years.
